Course Objectives
- Understand what water quality and the parameters used to measure it.
- Understand the importance of selecting sites for monitoring - taking into consideration OH&S principles.
- Ability to survey water bodies to assess their present condition using appropriate sampling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic laboratory analysis and test.
Participants will gain experience in using a range of manual and electronic water quality measuring equipment for onsite measurements. Upon completion participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Course Objectives

- Ability to appropriate sampling techniques.
- Understand the standard IS : 456 - 2000.
- Ability to perform basic laboratory analysis and test.
This training will cover Physical and Chemical testing including;turbidity, electrical conductivity, pH and dissolved oxygen, as per construction water standard IS Further, the candidate will be given practice in a chemical laboratory for analysis.
Under-Graduates and Graduate's university project works are undertaken
along with technical guidance in the environmental and food field
